A Little of This and That

Hi everyone! Here are some fun picutures of our family and some of the activities that we've been involved in since our last update.

Here's my little boy blue... Guess who's cheeks he's got.
I can't get enough of him is this hat as you'll see throughout this post. I bought a tan one too.

In March, Samantha and I went to a fairy tea party at the Provo Library. We had so much fun with friends and family. The library hosts a fine tea.

Sammy still fits her Halloween costume from when she was 2.

Ashlyn, Sammy, Eliza and Abby all looked beautiful.
The library displayed several amazing pieces of fairy paintings. This was one of our favorites.

Coach Hodges giving the 'Golden Eagles' their first pep talk of the season. Sammy (#7) and her cousin Carson (#4) were on the same team. James really enjoyed coaching, although he had to remind himself severals times throughout the season that these were 4-year olds and winning wasn't everything.
Samantha and Carson - best of pals!

Cuddling before bedtime.

Bedtime stories with big-sis.

Matthew's off to dream land.

Matthew's blessing day. Mom...are you done taking pictures yet?

Matthew's blessing day was very sweet. We love this little guy soooo much.

'Can I change out of these clothes yet?'

This is Matthew with his cute little cousin Jackson.

We spent the weekend in Cedar City and St. George.
Here is Sammy and Madeline (cousin) playing at the pool together.

Sammy has been in a creative dance class at BYU since September.
This is her good friend Sariah.

Sammy taking her turn, showing her stuff on the dance floor.

Sammy at dance practice.

Sammy just before her big dance performance. We were so proud of her.

I just got done delivering my papes... Seize the day!

Matthew is getting so big, so fast.

Hodges Update...Finally!

It's been a crazy few months and we are finally getting around to posting a few pictures. Our lives have changed since Matthew joined our little family. He's growing up fast as you'll see by the pictures below. We love having his sweet presence in our family.

Samantha and Daddy go sleddding with cousins.

It is evident that these two have a connection, they love each other a lot.

Our sleepy little man

Matthew is wearing James's baby pj's!

Tubby Time!
I love this picture of Matthew's sweet face.

These clothes were also James's. Cozy and cute!

If baby's could talk Matthew would say I love you sis!

Mattthew is laying on the quilt I made him. I think he likes it!

Making Valentine's Day cookies with Sammy

Samantha is a great big sister. She loves to entertain Matthew.
When Matthew cries, Sammy always tries to find ways to cheer him up.

Matthew has Diana's cheeks, nose, lips and ears. We think he'll have James' blonde hair.

Super-Matthew!

Matthew also has his mother's eye color.

Matthew Kennedy Hodges

Matthew Kennedy Hodges
Born: January 3rd, 2008
Time: 12:34 A.M.
Weight: 6 lbs, 13 oz
Height: 19 inches

Here are the pictures of baby Matthew. We are so excited to have him with us. Sorry for the delay in getting these posted. Things have been kind of crazy with the move and the new baby all at the same time:-)
A word from Matthew:
Hello world! My name is Matthew Hodges. I'm about 10 days old now and my parents are finally putting me on the family blog. The blog was previously dominated by photos of my sister, Samantha, but my agent and I have been able to negociate space on the blog moving forward. I look forward to meeting you all in person soon!

Getting ready to go home!

Sammy was soooo excited to have a buddy in the back seat with her!

Playing with his first toy.

It is amazing how much he looks like a boy version of Samantha. We think he'll probably be another good mixture of Diana and I (with Diana's nose, bottom lip and cheaks of course!)
