Patience

We are still trying to get pregnant! We are trying to be patient and some days are more difficult then others. It is just so sad and disappointing as each month goes by and I'm not preganant! I just want to know WHY more than anything. I guess that is the #1 question with most trials. So we are just going down the list of things to do for infertility! I really can't believe I just typed that, it is hard to come to grips with this situation. I know things will work out for the best and Heavenly Father can do more with out lives than we can. So I will have Faith in that and try to have patience.

Here are some of my latest pics and one of my favorite poems.

We love and miss you all!

A Psalm of Life

Life that shall send
A challenge to its end,
And when it comes say, Welcome, friend.

Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!-
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.

Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

Not enjoyment, and not in sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.

Art is long, and time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.

In the world’s broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of life,
Be not dumb and driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife!

Trust no future, howe’er pleasant!
Let the dead bury its dead!
Act,-act in the living present!
Heart within, and God o’erhead!

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time:

Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o’er life’s solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.

Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.

Darn-it! I was bummed to hear your news. I would have used a stronger word but that wouldn't be nice. I love the pictures and Sammy's rain outfit and dress are adorable. The picture in color with the little flowers in her hair is my fav. Hang in there.
